WASEC was established as a home-grown solution to address the current disconnects between security, local peoples/youth, and communities in regard to public safety, drug and alcohol management, and behavioral conduct. WASEC focuses on pro-active engagement by building relationships with local communities to maintain public safety, security and sense of community.

WASEC includes a comprehensive selection process including national police clearances, literacy and numeracy testing, as well as extensive industry experience.
